Structural Modelling in Pavement Rehabilitation Process
Original language description
The paper concerns the application of the structural modelling in two instances of a pavement rehabilitation process: (1) modelling of material behaviour of fractured concrete slabs and cracked asphalt layers via multivolume method, and (2) modelling ofthe contribution of membranes to mechanical performance of pavements via generalization of the layer transfer conditions. Two problem solutions are presented to show the influence of the material parameters of the fractured material as well as the effectof the membranes on the overlay design results.
