Probabilistic Risk Analysis of a Structure in Normal and Fire Situation Including Life Safety
Original language description
Probabilistic risk analysis of a structure in normal and fire design situation is based on the law of the total probability assuming a certain proportion of occurence of the normal and fire situation and conditional probabilities of structural collapse given relevant situation. Reliability of the structure in both situations is determined using probabilistic methods. Derived conditional probabilities of failure and smoke intensity are then used as input data in a developed Bayesian casual network and influence diagrams, which seems to provide an effective tool to analyze structure under normal and fire situation and to estimate expected total risk including life safety.
