For the better knowledge about the behaviour of structures, especially of bridges, and their service life there are made degradation models of these structures. Functions of a development of chosen parameters of structures are created in time dependence.Rhe change dependence of these parameters on decrease of a structure lifetime and the influence of a specific failure on them is suitable to check up on simple structural elements. The main aim of this project was to identify changes of modal parametersof RC-beams damaged by several steps of loading. After each step a complete experimental modal analysis was performed to determine modal parameters of the beam
