Model Research of Building's Response to Wind Load
Original language description
The response of a building loaded by wind depends on its shape and properties as well as on the terrain and surrounding buildings configuration. The goal of the solution of the project part was to find and manage suitable procedures for the design and realization of the aeroelastic building model, measurement of the model response, setting up and verification of suitable evaluation methods of the data measured, and acquiring of practical experience with realization of such tasks. Possibilities of knowledge utilization in evaluation of the surrounding buildings influence on the response of a 36 m tall panel building were verified on a specific case.
