    Problem of reinforcement of cementitious composites by fibres (Fibre Reinforced Concrete - FRC) is still very open issue solved by many research institutes around the world. This principle has been historically known for a long time but concerning new types of fibres, their treatment and modifying admixtures of cementitious matrix it is developed and studied permanently.

    Problematika aplikace vláken do cementových kompozic je stale předmětem studia řady výzkumných pracovišť. Nové typy polymerních vláken s různými modifikacemi umožňují dosahovat cementové kompozice s velmi zajímavými vlastnostmi. V článku je prezentovánamožnost vytvoření cementového kompozitu s vysoko duktilitou známých jak tzv. Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) ze surovin dostupných v ČR.
