Wind Response Monitoring on Buildings
Original language description
Recent results of the long-term measurement of the wind responses of two tall buildings in Prague are presented. The response monitoring is automatic and continues. Natural frequencies of buildings were verified by measurements. The calculations and measurements were used for the mode shape identification. The acceleration response resonant components are followed up as a function of the wind speed in the preferred wind directions.. The aim is the increasing reliability of calculations of the dynamic part of the building response.
