Original language description
Reliability elements provided in CEN and CENELEC standards for specific types of structures as steel masts and guided towers are analyzed using probability-based reliability methods. Submitted analyses confirms preliminary studies that the application ofrecommended values of partial and reduction factors for structural design as given in present generation of some European standards may lead to significantly lower reliability levels than those ones accepted in EN 1990. The partial factors and other reliability elements should be further calibrated.
