Original language description
The submitted contribution is focused on the model uncertainties in resistance of reinforced concrete structures. As an example the model uncertainty related to shear resistance of beams without shear reinforcement is assessed considering available testresults. Variation of the model uncertainty with basic variables is analysed and significant variables are identified. Proposed probabilistic model of the model uncertainty related to the section-oriented formula provided in EN 1992-1-1 consists of the lognormal distribution with a mean of 1.0 and coefficient of variation of 0.15.
