FUNCTIONALLY GRADED BEAMS
Original language description
Fine-grained cement-based composite materials is developed in the Czech Republic. The mechanical properties, mixture recipe and technological problems during production are different at Ultra-High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) to commonused concrete. The homogeneity of the steel fibre distribution is one of the technological aspect that must be solved for successful production of UHPFRC. The homogeneity of the steel fibre distribution determine the final mechanical properties of UHPFRC. The fibre segregation is negative effect for elements made from one mixture recipe. The functionally graded beams made from mixtures with different volume fraction of the steel fibres were produced and tested in the framework of grant No. 13-15175S ?Elements of functionally layered fiber composites?. Non homogeneity of the steel fibre distribution at cross section was aim of production beams according to increasing the tensile strength in bending. The results of the In the present stud
