Original language description
This article describes the most important impact of recycled concrete aggregates (shortened as RCA) on concrete mixture used in top layer of concrete road. The main aim of this work is the possibility of reusing the RCA obtained by crushing the old concrete roads as a building material in new concrete pavements. Using the RCA in new mixture influences the properties of final concrete elements. This effect can range from minimal to very significant, depending on the composition and quality of the RCA andits dosage. The most of these effects have a negative impact on the final characteristics of concrete road. This paper is based on quality, sustainability and risks of road concrete with RCA.
