The susceptibility of forming efflorescence on concrete depending on the mould-releasing agent
Original language description
The susceptibility of forming efflorescence on concrete with different types of cement depending on the used mould-releasing agent is presented in this paper. This article is focused on primary efflorescence, specifically lime-based, which cannot be completely avoided. The measurement involves qualitative and quantitative efflorescence tests and also includes the determination of chemical composition of leaching salt crystals. These properties were tested depending on the selected mould-releasing agentand used cement. On the basis of the performed experiments, it can be concluded that the different kind of separators as well as type of cements impact the efflorescence of concrete. Data also shows that the amount of salt crystal in the mixture with themineral oil is 20% lower than other mixtures.
