Original language description
In the Klokner Institute, there were performed mechanical tests of basalt and textile glass reinforcement due to the need of elementary mechanical quantities (tensile strength and modulus of elasticity), because they are not provided by manufacturer. The filament sheaf fibers called roving was used for the production of test specimens. Also samples of 2D net of glass textile reinforcement (product of V. FRAAS, GmbH, Germany) was measured. The tests were focused on determination of the properties of the weft and dwarf directions.
