Original language description
The goal of the paper is to define and discuss the problem of increasing quantity of university students and graduates and the impact of the university students' motivation on their attitudes to learning and studying at university. The paper is based on the analysis of available scientific literature and the comparison of the results of the authors' survey conducted among students of the Czech Technical university in Prague in the first decade of the twenty-first century and the authors' survey conducted among students. The results show some interesting tendencies in students' attitudes to learning and studying at university in the Czech Republic.
