The paper presents the methodology of cost management of industrial production based on the system of production rules where each rule has its own model of linking production, labor, innovation and financial potential. The structure of information was created and tested with emphasis on the specifics of the development of industrial production. A cognitive map of cost management of industrial production with cause-effect relationships among selected concepts in the analysis of complex situations was designed.
