Pilot Study of the RR and QT Interval Relationship in Equine Electrocardiograms
Original language description
The paper describes preliminary experiments and their results that offered first insight to relationship between RR and QT intervals in equine ECG signals recorded under various conditions. In contrast to human heart in dominant number of cases the QT intervals prolonged with a heart rate acceleration. The negative slope of the regression line describing shape of the QT/RR diagram changes from from -0.0297 to -0.1124,and the mean value is 0,0539. This fact means that the electrical processes in equine heart ventricles must be controlled by different mechanisms than in human heart.
