Original language description
Miniaturized version of the previously developed USB interface for data readout and acquisition control of MEDIPIX 2 detectors. It is controlled by the single-chip microcontroller with integrated AD converters (used for monitoring of internal DA converters of Medipix2 detector, temperature, etc.). Device (including bias voltage of 5-100V) is powered via USB bus itself avoiding the external power supplies. Whole measurement system including MEDIPIX 2 detector is 1x1.5x6 cm in size. The Pixelman softwarepackage is used for measurement control.
