The first part introduces the Smart City strategy of Vienna, which, besides energy, deals with mobility and involvement of the population in innovative projects. Subsequently, energy efficiency targets for the city and implementation examples were presented. The second part shows examples of successful projects, followed by discussions with the participants. The training was mainly focused on participants from research organizations and municipalities. The lecturer was Pamela Mühlmann of the Viennese energy agency TINA Vienna.
