    For the Czech Republic the Authorized Metrological Centre (AMS) working by SUJCHBO v.v.i. ensures the metrological traceability for devices that measure the radon concentration and the energy equivalent radon concentration connected with radon decay products. The evaluation and the measuring devices calibration require stable conditions of radon and radon decay products, which can be ensured in the radon aerosol chamber. The maximum radon concentration in the chamber atmosphere is 2 MBq.m-3. The desingof the new AMS radon aerosol chamber allows among others measurement and a control of environmental parameters such as temperature, air pressure inside and outside the chamber, relative humidity of air, aerosol particles concentration and size distribution and air velocity.
