Evaluation of a Dose Caused by External Irradiation from Radioactive Aerosols
Original language description
A stable atmosphere with a high concentration of radioactive or non-radioactive aerosol was created in a radon-aerosol chamber (RAC), which is a testing box of the volume of 10 m3, located at National Institute for NBC Protection (SÚJCHBO v.v.i.). The radioactive aerosol was sampled via glass-fiber filters, which activity was subsequently measured. The doses at different places of the RAC were both determined using TLD detectors and DIS-1 (RADOS) dosimeters and estimated using an MNCPX model.
