    Simultaneous Measurements of Nanoaerosols and Radioactive Aerosols

  • Original language description

    Experimental comparison of all aerosol size distribution and activity size distribution of radon decay products dispersed in the radon-aerosol chamber at various well-defined parameters of the inner aerosol atmosphere was made. Unattached fraction depends on both the total aerosol particle concentration and the aerosol particles size distribution. Standard methods used for the estimation of the free fraction give comparable results with measurement of radioactive aerosols using Graded Screen Array Diffusion Battery. Results of this work can contribute to the accuracy and precision of conversion factor between Bq and Sv determination for radon decay products.
