Using Protein Hydrolyzates from Tannery Wastes in Agriculture and Building Industry
Original language description
The leather industry provides an example of the value of a byproduct-hides and skins of both game and animals raised for meat, the product of the leather industry being more valuable than, the final product of the same weight in the meat industry. It istherefore evident that, the term ˛waste˛ is very relative and that if a successful utilization of this waste is to be found, then a change in the philosophy of how we look at things is needed, for the waste of one industry may be valuable raw material foranother.
