Original language description

Structural transformations of semicrystalline polymers form a significant field of current scientific research. Different crystalline modifications of the particular polymer often exhibit wide range of mechanical properties. Isotactic polypropylene can crystallize in several forms denoted alfa, beta, gamma and smectic. This study intends to analyse the influence of the beta form content on the impact toughness of PP.
