    Diffusion process of polymer dissolution seems to be a simple tool of solid biopolymer characterization. As the solvent were used water and its solutions of binary electrolytes (NaF, KBr, LiI) and tensides (cetylpyridinium bromide, sodium laurylsulphonates). stron influence of electrolyte and teside concentration on swelling time, velocity of dissolution and especially on the expansion work of polymer under influence of internal pressure has been observed.
