    Lignite and its Applications as Sorption Material.

  • Original language description

    Lignite as a sorption material was obtained after previous physico-chemical preatreatment e.g. by thermal activation process or by photochemical activation in fluid plasma-chemical reactor. Such material was then formed into the shapes of the corpuscules. Equilibrium and kinetic parameters of the sorption processes for ammonia, transition metals ion was described by Langmuir isotherm. From the thermal dependence of the ammonia ions adsorption, the thermodynamic activation parameters of the sorption process were determined. Simultaneously, pH dependence of ammonia ions equilibrium adsorption was measured.
