    Both PP and PET constitute significant portion of post-consumer waste.The steady shear flow properties of unmodified and modified PP/PET blends having up to 50 wt. % PET were investigated and compared. Three types of PPs with different flow properties were used as blends matrices. The shear viscosity and the first normal stress difference were measured at rotational cone and plate rheometer at two temperatures: 265°C (both PET and PP are melted) and 245°C (only PP is melted). The addition of maleic anhydride affect the properties in various ways.
