Original language description
Paper is dealing with 2-step enzymatic hydrolysis decomposition process of leather scraps. This process runs in slightly alkaline region using 1.2 per-cent of KOH as alkali reagent. Commercial enzyme alcalase of 0.1 per-cent concentration is added to theprocess. pH value of reaction mixture is adjusted using 15 per-cent of ortho-phosphoric acid solution. The whole process is based on mild reaction conditions - water bath temperature is 70 oC. After filtration process of heterogeneous mixture protein hydrolysate may be directly used for agricultural purposes.
