    Two types of clays # Cloisite 30B and Na+ montmorillonite intercalated and co-intercalated with PVC plasticizers were tested. As the polymer matrix was used the suspension type of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). XRD analysis and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) were applied to characterise the compounded structures of the prepared PVC sheet. Flame resistance and thermomechanical properties were measured as well.
