There was replaced the design of the steel tool holder by a new one. The new design development was led by cost saving. The target can be achieved by reduction of production and assembly time and reduction of power consumption. There is offered the widely used advanced technology of the injection molding. But the total redesigning of the steel tool holder is necessary. A tool holder is the pot which carriers and transports the tool from the milling machine magazine to the spindle. The paper describes the development of the new design. There were used advanced CAD technology and CAE analyses as well.
