An appraisal of differential constitutive equations for polymer melts under various flow situations
Original language description
Newly proposed Leonov model was compared with modified White-Metzner model and eXtended Pom-Pom model in steady shear and steady uniaxial flow situations for three different polymer melts: LDPE, mLLDPE, and PVB. It has been found that the suggested improvement of the Leonov model significantly increase capability of the model describe strong extensional flows.
