Dielectric spectroscopy method of collagen crosslinking by glutaraldehyde
Original language description
Collagen hydrolysate is a perspective product of tanning waste processing. It is the easily biodegradable material with a minimal negative influence on the environment. Applications of these natural polymers evidently enlarge because they are biodegradable environment-friendly products. We occupy ourselves with the sensor construction that could allow monitoring of crosslinking state by the continual production of composite materials. The precise LCR-bridge was used and the user program was created in HP Vee software. This program allows automated measurement and data recording of the reaction kinetics of crosslinking by dielectric spectroscopy. Dissipation factor D was chosen as measured quantity. The glyoxal was used for the modification of collagenproperties.
