    Relationships between specific surface area of cements determined by Blaine and BET methods

  • Original language description

    Specific surface area of eight different laboratory and industrial cements was determined by BET and Blaine methods in the first step. Very bad correlation between determined surfaces was obtained. Then 19 specimens were prepared by grinding clinkers (alite, belite and aluminate type) from four cement works with addition of 5 wt.%gypsum in a laboratory ball mill (Blaine values 2000 to 5500 cm2/g). Very good correlation between BET specific surface area, porosity and density of clinker was found.

    Vztahy mezi specifickým povrchem cementů změřených metodou Blaine a BET

    Výzkum byl zaměřen na měření specifického povrchu osmi druhů laboratorních a prumyslových cementů pomocí metod Blaine a BET.Byla pozorována špatná korelace mezí změřenými povrchy vzorků. Dál bylo připraveno ve laboratorním mixeru 19 vzorků mletého slínku(alyt, belyt a aluminium typ) ze čtyřy různých cementu a s přídavkem 5% hm. sádrovce. Byla nalezená velmí dobrá korelace mezí BET specifickým povrchem, Blaine specifickým povrchem, porositou a hustotou hlíniku.
