Original language description

Tannery process involves chemico-physical operations, during which a number of conversions occur resulting into the conversion of hide to leather. Deliming is focused on decreasing the pH in white-leather. Deliming should adjust the pH of white-leather in so far to be suitable for bating and for another processes preparing white-leather for tanning. Calcium may be partially removed with water. Experimental part of our contribution is focused on the possibilities of deliming of white leather obtained intannery in Otrokovice (The Czech Republic). Experiments were performed in a laboratory conditions in shake flasks and a shaker. Distilled water at a temperature of 22#2 oC was used. The percentage of eluted calcium from white leather as a function of soaking number (ratio of volume of washing-out liquid to volume of solid phase) was observed.

Czech description

Koželužský proces zahrnuje chemicko-fysikální operace, během kterých dochází k mnoha přeměnám výchozího materiálu # kůže # na useň.Účelem odvápňování je snížit pH holiny a nastavit ho tak holina byla připravena pro moření a další procesy, které připravují holinu na činění. Vápník je možné částečně odstranit vodou. K experimentálním pokusům odvápňování holiny byla použita holina dodaná z koželužny TAREX, Otrokovice. Pokusy byly provedeny za laboratorní teploty. Zjišťovali jsem procento vymytého vápníku vzávislosti na námokovém čísle.
