Tools and their management are very important parts of each manufacturing system and with an increasing impact of information technologies on manufacturing we get the possibility to effectively manage their use and to obtain an important influence on theincrease of productivity and reduction of manufacturing costs. In CIM systems, the tool management must fill functions as optimization of used types and numbers of tools and their components, connection of the tools to the planned processes, operationsand NC programs, the assembly of tools from components and its adjustment, measuring of assembled tool dimensions, transfer of information about tool dimensions to NC system for determination of the corrections, watching of the cutting time for tool lifeestimation and control of tool flow within the manufacturing system. Informační systém hospodaření s nástroji ve výrobních systémech
Czech description
Nástroje a jejich správa tvoří velmi důležitou součást výrobních systémů a s rostoucím využíváním informačních technologií získáváme prostředky pro efektivní zpracování informací o nich. Správa nástrojů musí plnit ve výrobních systémech funkce jako optimalizace počtu užívaných typů nástrojů, propojení nástrojů s technologickými a plánovacími procesy, sestavování nástrojů a jejich měření atd. S těmito funkcemi je samozřejmě spjato zpracování velkého množství dat a proto je vhodné použít informační system, který (nebo jeho subsystem) je na správu nástrojů zaměřen. Tento příspěvek popisuje takový informační system, který byl vyvinut na FAI UTB Zlín ve spolupráci s FSI VUT v Brně.
