Finite Element Model of Dynamics within Highspeed Grinding Process

  • Original language description

The aim of this article is to describe the dynamics of cutting process when grinding at high cutting speeds. A computer model was created in the computer program AdvantEdge by Third Wave Systems. Simulation was considered to explain the behavior of one grinding grain depending on wear. Was monitored the creation of cutting forces, stress formation and heat generation as a time function while grinding by one grinding grain.
