Original language description
Increasing of technical aptitude of machines is a permanent process. Process parameters of machines are important factors of productivity of labour and process efficiency of material cutting in machine processing conditions. Machining of hard-workable materials belong among up-to-date problems. These materials are industrial ceramics with high strength, frictional and corrosion resistance. Application of ultrasound in grinding process is one of the methods of machining of industrial ceramics. A paper deals with interpretation of experiments of final machining done by grinding of holes in chosen materials that are made of ceramics. These materials were processed by a combination of classical method and ultrasound in the same technological conditions. Quality of processed surface was emphasised. The surface was represented by average arithmetic error, height of inequality and variation of roundness.
