Investigation of Dynamic Behaviour at Hydraulic Shock in Pipe
Original language description
The paper deals with time dependent flow of compressible viscous liquid in elastic pipe. There is simulated pressure response at single points through a pipe length. The pressure response is subsequently simulated for different pipe lengths and differentspeeds of sound in liquid. There is assumed pipe line with the continuously distributed parameters. The pressure response is simulated by software ?Flowmaster?, which uses the method of characteristics for numerical solution of time dependent flow. Simulated response is compared with experimental measurement for concrete pipe length and speed of sound.
