Polymer magnetic composites with enhanced permeability in RF band
Original language description
Polymeric magnetic composites (PMCs) are an important class of magnetic materials from the view point of their practical application as elements of electronic devices and electromagnetic wave absorbers. In contrast to bulk ferromagnetics they have higherresistivity, lower density, chemical stability, and processability. However, the main advantage is that they exhibit higher values of complex permeability in microwave band. In this work, the static magnetic properties and electromagnetic properties (complex permeability and permittivity) of a series of PMCs filled with basic (starting) MnZn ferrite and MnZn ferrite coated by polyaniline and polypyrrole of different conductivity are presented. It is shown that there is no difference in saturation magnetization of composites with basic and coated ferrite particles. However, significant difference in the magnitude of permeability between composites filled with uncoated and coated MnZn ferrite was observed. By changing the thickness and c
