Original language description
The morphology of polyaniline films on various substrates was studied by atomic force microscopy. The analysis of polyaniline microstructure on different scales reveals a hierarchical structure that consist of spherically symmetric nanoparticles with a characteristic size of about 200 nm, each of which, in turn, consists of globules with size of about 50 nm. The formation of the globular structure of polyaniline is discussed on the basis of fractal theory taking into account diffusion-limited aggregation of particles and clusters.
