Testing of Polyurethane Foams for Aircraft Application
Original language description
The application of polyurethane foams with open cells using as acoustic insulation has been tested. For this purpose, acoustic tests, thermal analysis, mechanical tests and fire-protection were carried out. The aim of our experiment was to create a listof special tests for materials based on polyurethane for application in fuselage of aircraft. For the test were used devices of Brüel and Kj?r and Shimadzu. Materials based on polyurethanes and designed by Gumotex Břeclav (CZE) were used as tested samples. The tested aircraft was designed by EVEKTOR Kunovice. The tests were carried out in a laboratory of the Physics and Material Engineering Department of Tomas Bata University in Zlin and in EVEKTOR Kunovice Company.
