  • Original language description

    Styrene plastics count among the most widely used plastics. Their production is increasing and thus the demands on their properties. They can be improved by usage of fillers. A specific group are nanofillers ? layered clays. The properties of polymer/clay nanocomposites depend on filler?s dispersion in polymer matrix. Compatibilisers are tool to improve the dispersion. This work is focused on two types of compatibilisers, two clay nanofillers (one unmodified and one commercially modified) and two methods of preparation. The dispersion was determined by X-ray diffraction. Moreover, the mechanical properties were measured.
