    In this work, die drool and slip-stick flow phenomena are experimentally investigated for two linear high density polyethylene melts differing in the high molecular weight content only. It has been found that slight increase in the high molecular weightfraction can significantly promote the onset and intensity of both investigated flow phenomena.
