Viscoelastic properties of electrorheological suspensions of core-shell (carbon/polyaniline) particles in silicone oil
Original language description
In this work, polyaniline particles were carbonized in the nitrogen atmosphere under 650 °C for one hour. Then such carbonized particles were coated with polyaniline base once for one type of the coated sample and twice for another one. Morphology of particles was characterized via SEM analysis. ER properties under oscillatory shear mode for silicone oil suspensions of prepared particles were investigated using a rotational rheometer modified for ER experiments. The best compatibility between dispersedparticles and silicone oil used as a carrier liquid was obtained after the second coating of carbonized particles.
