Original language description
1,3-benzooxazin-4-ones are known for their use in biologically valuable applications. In addition, their aromatic character leads to presumption that they could also serve as UV absorbers in polymer systems and thus find a new application in material processing area. Therefore, three derivatives of benzo-1,3-oxazin-4-ones were investigated with NMR, UV-Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopy. All of these experiments were supported with DFT and TDDFT calculations, which consider solvent effects of chloroform with PCM model, and which form a crucial part of this work.
