Carbon nanotubes composite pressure sensors integrated into flexible shoe insole for human movement monitoring
Original language description
Increasingly active research on wearable technologies and emerging consumer electronics indicates a wearable world ahead. Wearable electronics have evolved from life-saving devices to fashion accessories, ranging from activity tracking bracelets, smart watches to GPS-enabled shoes. A wearable electronics device can be defined as one that has intelligence, and is able to take input, process that input and provide meaningful output. Sensors are an important part of wearable electronics, and continue to become smaller and more sophisticated.
