Company Information Systems have enabled the expansion of traditional teaching methods and educational resources - and this especially holds true not only for the domains of (their) flexibility, but also for their availability and ease of access of the content. In order to fully grasp the opportunities offered by ICT, this contribution outlines the core principles of their implementation - so-called "Streaming Media" (literally: "Streamed Media"), as an integral component of eLearning in a company's educational system.

Podnikové komunikační sítě umožnily rozšířit tradiční metody a prostředky vzdělávání, a to zejména v oblasti pružnosti, ale také dostupnosti obsahu. Pro uchopení možností, které ICT skýtají, příspěvek nastiňuje principy implementace tzv. streaming medií(doslova "proudová média"), jako nedílné součástí eLearningu v podnikovém vzdělávacím systému.
