In the article are presented issues of solution of the international project COST A29 HOPS - Human and Organisation Factors in Industry Planning and Scheduling [2], where authors take a part. Article deals with problem of evaluation of Advanced Planningand Scheduling (APS) systems with special focus to the role and knowledge of human planner. In the article will be presented also some results of questionnaire research in the Czech production companies focused on benefits of APS system implementation. Specific findings are presented in increase of Customer Service (quicker response to demand, shorter delivery times, better due date performance, better delivery performance) and Operational Excellence (WIP reduction, better resource utilization, inventory reduction, response to change acceleration)

Příspěvek se zabývá problematikou hodnocení efektivnosti systémů pokročilého plánování výroba a řízení dodavatelsko-odběratelských řetězců a to se zaměřením jednak na změnu paradigmatu řízení výroby na řízení řetězců, jednak na změnu postavení i náplň práce "lidského" plánovače v podnikovém systému řízení. V příspěvku budou presentovány výsledky řešení mezinárodního projektu COST A29 HOPS - Human and Organisation Factors in Industry Planning and Schedulling. V rámci příspěvku budou presentovány výsledkyprůzkumu případových studií s konkrétními efekty implementace APS/SCM systému i2 Factory Planner ve vybraných strojírenských podnicích
