The article deals with the use of methods and procedures of benchmarking in the evaluation and management of a cluster and current or potential members of a cluster. In the introduction benchmarking and the possibilities of its use for the management ofperformance are explained. Then the methodology of evaluation of financial performance of a cluster and its members is described, which has been verified by actual activity in a specific cluster that cooperated with the research team. The evaluation of apotential member of a cluster follows as an example of proposed methodology usage. Software solution for benchmarking of financial performance of clusters is presented in the last part of the article, which includes system requirements for the application, and both administrator and user point of view on the benchmarking ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) tool. Článek se zabývá využitím metod a postupů benchmarkingu pro hodnocení a řízení finanční výkonnosti klastru a stávajících či potenciálních členů klastru. V úvodu článku je přiblížen benchmarking a jeho možnosti využití pro řízení výkonnosti. Dále je popsána navržená metodika hodnocení finanční výkonnosti klastru a jeho členů, která je prakticky ověřena na konkrétním klastru spolupracujícím s výzkumným týmem. Jako příklad užití navržené metodiky je uvedena evaluace potenciálního člena klastru. V článku jepak prezentováno softwarové řešení pro benchmarking finanční výkonnosti klastrů, které zahrnuje jak systémové požadavky aplikace, tak pohled administrátora a uživatele na tento nástroj. Závěr článku je věnován diskusi dalších možností využití benchmarkingu pro měření a řízení výkonnosti na základě nefinančních měřítek.
