Small business enterprises are vulnerable in business enviroment and they need to develop communication planning for possible crises. This planning is very important for small businesses since they often lack the resources to cope easily in a crisis. Themain issue of small business enterprises´ planning process should involved: the identification of potential crises and the set out how to minimize the risks of disasters occurring. Small business enterprises´ crisis management should handle and coordinate, the management and the communications, before, during and after the crisis.

Malé podniky jsou v podnikatelském prostředí velmi zranitelné a vyžadují zpracování plánu krizové komunikace. Plánování krizové komunikace napomáhá snadnější zvládnutí krize, protože Malé podniky zpravidla trpí nedostatkem zdrojů. Hlavní problematikou plánovacího procesu by měla být identifikace potenciální krize a soubor opatření, jak minimalizovat možná rizika.V rámci krizového managementu malých podniků by měla být koordinována komunikace, a to před, během i po krizi.
