    The paper deals with two important educational trends not only for managers but for students and anybody who is interested in further education too. It?s about e-learning and m-learning (mobile learning). It deals with advantages and disadvantages of these educational trends. The present day brings dynamic developments in new technologies (wireless communication, Internet, mobile phones etc.). What might be an innovation today becomes a necessity tomorrow. What is the innovation today, tomorrow is antiquated. The new approach in teaching is usage of E-learning concepts. But some visionaries see the future of learning in mobile phones ? M-learning. One definition describes M-learning as ?learning that happens across locations, or that takes advantage oflearning opportunities offered by portable technologies.? The paper compares these two learning approaches. It will be described as a project ?Pracujeme chytřeji? ? Working Smarter which is being realized at Tomas Bata University in Zlín
