Original language description
The paper deals with the possibilities of using the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and APS (Advanced Planning System) for the concept of virtual company. The first part is devoted to the issue of a virtual company itself and its information structure. In the second part is discussed the status of APS systems as part of a comprehensive corporate information system and its application to virtual enterprise production planning and management. The conclusion summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the use of APS functionality for the concept of virtual company.
